You all know the story of the little match girl. Well this sculpture is inspired by this story of the little homeless girl in the cold and snow, and the only warmth is a match that lit the imagination of her dreams. She is imagining the family room glowing with the warmth of an open fire complete with a Christmas tree, and presents, a family roast, and of course her loving family, her imagination warming her until her match burns out…
